Privacy Policy

The short version. Your habit data lives on your device. I don't collect it, and I don't want to. There is no account, no analytics SDK and no telemetry anywhere in the app.

Habit Glass ("the app") is built by Lano Puljic ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how it stays private. The short version: your habit data lives on your device, I don't collect it, and I don't want to.

What data stays on your device

Everything you create in Habit Glass (habits, check-ins, notes, schedules, and preferences) is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you turn on iCloud sync.

The app also stores small pieces of local state:

• Your appearance preference (light, dark, or system)
• Whether you've completed onboarding
• Your iCloud sync preference
• A cached copy of your subscription status in the device Keychain, so Pro features work offline

iCloud sync

If you're a Habit Glass Pro subscriber, you can turn on iCloud sync. When enabled, your habit data is mirrored to your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. This means the data syncs between your devices through your own Apple ID. I have no access to your CloudKit data, and Apple handles it under their privacy policy.

iCloud sync is entirely optional. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, and your data remains on-device.

Subscriptions and payments

Habit Glass offers optional paid subscriptions and a lifetime purchase, processed entirely through Apple's App Store. I never see your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID.

To manage subscriptions and verify your purchase status, the app uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription platform. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your App Store transaction data to confirm your entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any habit data. You can review their privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What I don't collect

To be direct about it:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising or ad networks
• No device fingerprinting
• No location data
• No health data
• No contacts, photos, or camera access
• No server-side accounts or registration
• No telemetry of any kind

The app's Apple privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking: false with no collected data types. That's not a technicality, it's the whole design philosophy.

Notifications

Habit Glass can send local notifications to remind you about your habits. These are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. No notification data is sent to me or any server. You can disable notifications in the app's settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

Third-party services

The app uses exactly two external services:

• Apple (App Store, iCloud, push infrastructure) – Handles payments, optional CloudKit sync, and silent push delivery for sync. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• RevenueCat – Subscription receipt validation. Receives anonymous transaction data only. Governed by RevenueCat's privacy policy.

There are no other third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services in the app.

Data deletion

You can delete all your habit data from Settings > Data > Delete All Data. This permanently removes all habits and check-ins from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, the deletion propagates to your iCloud storage as well.

Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To also clear iCloud data, remove it from Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage on your device.

Children's privacy

Habit Glass does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, but if you believe a child is using the app in a way that concerns you, please contact me.

Your rights

If you're in the European Union, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, data portability, restriction of processing, and the right to object. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

In practice, Habit Glass doesn't collect or store your personal data on any server, so there's nothing for me to provide, correct, or delete. For data held by Apple or RevenueCat through their own services, contact them directly under their respective privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I'll update the effective date at the top and post the revised version here. For significant changes, I'll include a note in the app's update description on the App Store.
