Terms of Service

Effective September 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of Habit Glass ("the app"), built by Lano Puljic ("I", "me"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Straightforward enough.

What the app does

Habit Glass is a habit tracking app for iPhone. You create habits, log completions, and track your progress. All data is stored locally on your device. The app offers both a free tier and a paid subscription tier (Habit Glass Pro) with additional features.

Your account and data

There is no account. Habit Glass doesn't require registration, login, or an email address. Your data lives on your iPhone, and you're responsible for it.

If you enable iCloud sync (a Pro feature), your data is mirrored to your private iCloud storage through Apple's CloudKit. I don't have access to that data. Apple's iCloud terms apply to that sync.

If you delete the app, your local data is gone. If you use the in-app "Delete All Data" option, that's permanent too. I can't recover deleted data because I never had it in the first place.

Free and Pro tiers

The free tier includes:

  • Up to 3 active habits
  • 6 habit colors
  • Daily reminders
  • Full tracking and streak history

Habit Glass Pro unlocks:

  • Unlimited habits
  • Full color palette
  • Monthly insights
  • Data export (JSON and CSV) and import
  • Custom categories
  • Day notes on check-ins
  • Advanced reminders (nudge follow-ups, interval reminders)
  • Multiple completions per day
  • iCloud sync

Subscriptions and payment

Habit Glass Pro is available as:

  • Monthly – auto-renewing subscription
  • Yearly – auto-renewing subscription
  • Lifetime – one-time purchase, no renewal

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions at any time.

Prices are set in App Store Connect and may vary by region. Apple handles all billing, refunds, and payment disputes. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Lifetime purchases

If you purchased the lifetime option, "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not a perpetual promise. It means you won't be charged again and you get access to every Pro feature available at the time of purchase, plus any future updates released while the app is maintained.

I won't revoke access or remotely disable features you've paid for. If the app is eventually discontinued, your purchase keeps working on any device where it's installed, for as long as iOS supports it. Apple handles all refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app. Don't redistribute, sublicense, or resell it. Don't use the app for anything illegal. That's about it, there isn't much to abuse in a habit tracker.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, and branding (including the name "Habit Glass" and its icon) belong to me. Your habit data belongs to you. I don't claim any rights to what you track.

Availability and updates

I intend to keep Habit Glass available and maintained, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app depends on your device, iOS version, and (for sync) Apple's iCloud infrastructure, none of which I control.

I may release updates that change features, fix bugs, or adjust the app to work with new iOS versions. Major changes to Pro features will be communicated through App Store release notes.

Limitation of liability

Habit Glass is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I don't warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will never be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes data loss, missed habits, or any decisions you make based on the app's tracking. My total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Apple's terms

Habit Glass is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies as a baseline. Where these terms and Apple's EULA conflict, Apple's terms take precedence for matters within Apple's scope (payments, refunds, distribution). For everything else, these terms apply.

Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Any claims related to the app should be directed to me, not Apple.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. I reserve the right to discontinue the app, though I'd give reasonable notice through the App Store listing if that ever happens.

If the app is discontinued, active subscriptions won't be renewed after their current period ends. Lifetime purchases will continue to work as long as the app remains installed and compatible with your device.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I'll update the effective date at the top and post the revision here. For significant changes, I'll note it in the app's App Store update description. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest of them still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.

If you're in the European Union, nothing in these terms overrides the consumer protections you're entitled to under the laws of your country of residence.
